Metallica Vikings Hat
On April 11, 1983, while on tour with Metallica just before the group was on their way to New York to record their debut album Metallica Vikings Hat, Dave Mustaine was fired by James Hetfield and Lars Urlich. Very briefly as soon as Dave woke up: here's your stuff and here's the bus ticket. And yet, as soon as Dave was sitting in the car back to California, the main duo of Metallica immediately shipped Kirk Hammet from the Exodus group. Kirk Hammet rehearsed riffs devised by Dave Mustaine on his way to New York and then the group recorded "Kill 'Em all".
