Inspired by the witch's broomsticks in the hit Harry Potter series/story, a project on the Kickstarter website recently gained attention for its invention. This "flying broom" product Creepy Halloween House with a Witch Flying Shirt, however, does not actually fly. It is simply a device consisting of a broom that attaches to a 1-wheel electric vehicle. According to Silveira, to simulate the feeling of controlling a real broom, this device has a special control mechanism. Nuvem currently has up to 4 models, ranging from models for "apprentice wizards" as well as seniors, and older models for sports purposes. Unfortunately, the project seems to have failed to raise funds as it raised just over 1,700 Canadian dollars on top of its goal of 15,000 Canadian dollars.
