The story takes place in 1925, at Shibuya station. Hachi, nicknamed Hachiko - is a small Funny dog Classic T-Shirt, white-haired dog, born in November 1923 in Akita Prefecture, Japan. He lost his owner and was brought home by Professor Ueno of Tokyo University as the son of a family. Everyday as usual, every morning Hachiko saw Professor Ueno Eizaburo off to the station so he could get on the train to work and they both walked to Shibuya station. Hachiko was not allowed to follow the professor to Imperial University (now the University of Tokyo), where he was teaching, and in the afternoon, too, at 3 pm, Hachiko would go to the station to wait for the professor to return.
