To create the minimalist collection of sweats and tees, Woldegebriel took an unorthodox approach. “We crafted our first collection after deconstructing 17 of the top loungewear products in the market to inspire the design of our hoodies and sweatpants,” he explains. The hoodies, joggers, and T-shirts are made in Manhattan’s Garment District, and the hat is made in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. Producing close to home was important to him for the first collection (it’s titled A Promise to New York), and he hopes to support the communities that make his clothes as the collection grows.
